Sept. 13, 2018 — ICBA hosted a reception on Capitol Hill to celebrate the pro-community bank regulatory relief policies enacted under S. 2155.
Featuring opening remarks from ICBA President and CEO Rebeca Romero Rainey, the reception hosted numerous lawmakers and staff members from congressional offices that have been champions of community banks in Washington.
Reps. Andy Barr (R-Ky.), Ami Bera (D-Calif.), Ted Budd (R-N.C., pictured with Romero Rainey), Bill Foster (D-Ill.), French Hill (R-Ark.), Randy Hultgren (R-Ill.), Keith Rothfus (R-Pa.), Claudia Tenney (R-N.Y.), and Scott Tipton (R-Colo.) were among the attendees.
Signed into law earlier this year and inspired by ICBA’s Plan for Prosperity, the landmark Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief and Consumer Protection Act is the culmination of comprehensive efforts over many years by community bankers and congressional allies.
