FDIC Proposes Repealing Annual Disclosure

Oct. 31, 2018 — The FDIC requested feedback on its plan to remove Part 350 of its regulations, which requires insured state nonmember banks to prepare and release annual disclosure statements on financial and other information. The agency said technological advancements provide more extensive and timely information that render the Part 350 disclosures redundant. Comments on the proposal are due by Nov. 26.
